Secursil corrugated sheets with an improved resistante to impacts
Secursil sheets are reinforced with two polyvinylalcool cords in each corrugation.
This reinforcement is an important advance in reducing industrial roofing accidents.
Providing the sheets are fitted according to UNI 10636, in the unfortunate case of an operative falling on the roof and breaking a sheet, the
reinforced sheet will remain intact allowing the casualty to be safely rescued.
Secursil sheets have been tested to UNI 10960 standard "profiled and reinforced fibre cement sheets resisting the impact of a soft body with large dimensions".
Following these regulations the sheets are regularly fixed with a span of 1,4 meters between supports they have to resist a sphere-conic form with a weight of kg 50
dropped from a height of 1,2 meters.
At the moment of impact an energy of 600 joule is reached.
The result is positive if the sheets retain the load for at least one minute.
Our Secursil sheets exceed the result demanded by the standard and retain the load indefinitely.
