Modern methods mean that tiles are laid on a fibre cement sheet with a special profile. This has technical and economic advantages.
There are two kinds of undertile sheets: Aquitania and Provenzale Secursil. They enable the easy use of coverings for tiles of different dimensions.
Maxcolor undertile Aquitania sheets and maxcolor undertile Secursil Provenzale sheets have a uniform colour on both sides that allows a natural integration with the tiles.
Maxcolor Secursil Provenzali undertile sheets are available also with a Flammé finish. These sheets are grey on the underside and their face side is variegated, they harmonize well with old and new tiles.
When used without tiles they give a natural aspect to the roof.
